Full Sail University introduces the International Momentum Scholarship program. This program is designed to offer assistance to qualified individuals passionate about a career in the entertainment and media industries. The International Momentum Scholarship program will award eligible online candidates up to $20,000 for a bachelor’s degree program or up to $10,000 for an associate’s or master’s degree program.

The Full Sail administration has taken a number of safety measures to help keep their students, faculty, and staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of these measures, Full Sail was able to welcome some of their students back to campus in July of 2020, and more and more students have started to return since. Now, every student enrolled in an on-campus degree program is able to safely participate in all campus activities. Recently, Lyka Segura, a graduate of Full Sail University’s Cloud Technologies bachelor’s program, started working as a cloud infrastructure architect for Amazon Web Services. There her job is designing and deploying cloud-based technologies to help companies access and manage large amounts of data. In order to do this, someone needs to have an in-depth, intuitive understanding of computing systems, computer languages, and system architectures. Lyka cites her Full Sail University education as one of the key factors in her journey to success.
After graduating from Full Sail’s Recording Arts program, Bianca Pernice sent her resume out to several recording studios, including the famed Hit Factory in Miami. She is working to become a freelance mixing engineer with hopes of eventually transitioning to sound for movies.
"Full Sail graduates have been a part of my life and I didn’t even realize it," Bianca shares "Growing up in Chicago, I listened to Missy Elliott, Timbaland, TLC; the list goes on and on. It’s serendipitous that so many Full Sail alumni have worked with those artists and helped create the music I grew up listening to."

"Working on the front end and the back end is a great experience, it helped me see how things work," says Sean Casey. While he was a Web Design & Development student, Sean contacted Full Sail’s Career Development department for the opportunity to intern for AssistRX. Sean says working, the company offered him a full-time position right after graduation. Having first worked on the front end of development before moving to the back end has helped him see how the entire company works.

After graduating from Full Sail’s Game Development program, Mark Diaz reached out to a Gaming Advisor who put him in contact with the HR manager of id Software. Mark submitted his resume, took their test, and was offered a job after an on-site interview. Mark shares, “I’m really looking forward to getting caught up on what all the systems in the game engine do.”
